Held Even When Unheld focuses on the relationship between a mother and child — a connection that moves beyond form and language, existing even in absence. Through fabric, voice, and documentation, Sheena explores what it means to be held — in love, in silence, in time — and how that holding transforms when it is released.
Woven through conversation and process, this work becomes both archive and offering: a meditation on tenderness, distance, and the quiet persistence of bond.

The Space Between Becoming, 2023
This collection lives in the pause between who I was and who I am still becoming. Each artwork carries a distinct vibration — some born of fire and movement, others of stillness and breath. Together, they trace the rhythm of transformation: from expression to awareness, from separation to oneness. Through layers of shifting colour and texture, the works explore how every emotion, every phase, every hue becomes part of the same unfolding truth. The Space Between Becoming is both a remembrance and a return — a reflection on how we evolve through surrender. It holds the energy of expansion, the acceptance of what was, and the grace of what continues to form. These canvases remind me that becoming isn’t about reaching somewhere new; it’s about honouring the infinite space that exists within change itself.
